Had another fab week, weatherwise the week went from one extreme to other. Starting with storm brian and finishing with fine and sunny days and burning sunsets.

Fishing was ok but no pike this year. The Boathouse was as warm and homely as normal. Roll on 2018.

15th to 22nd September 2017

Our second holiday at the Boathouse and just as lovely as the first! Greatly appreciated the use of the sun loungers an added bonus. Dissapointed we didnt see a kingfisher this time, but we greatly enjoyed seeing the baby grebe learning to fish and a flock of geese landing on the broad. Plenty of R and R with good weather to boot. Thankyou.

This our third trip to the Boathouse in so many years and its been utterly fantastic again!! Sailed lots fishing (well over 30 fish caught), swim on a daily basis and never tired of sitting on the balcony lapping up the gorgeous view. Rowing boats just the best for exploring, we genuinely love it here and will be back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great place fishing has been brill, had 4lb bream and lots of them. Really peacefull and not many boats would come back again.

We had a glorious week here and horar 30 degrees on two days, super hot. Grandad and Grandma caught roach, silver bream. Dad, Mum and Lili

silver bream (our biggest 3lb 14oz) perch 1lb 3oz and eels. thank you Guinness the dog.

Great holiday once again, bream fishing excellent up to 7 lb. Kids enjoyed paddling in the dykes and swimming in the water. Thanks again PS nice floor

Another fantastic week here in the Fabulous Boathouse I reckon this place is almost 100% perfect! We’ve swam, sailed lots, rowed, fed the ducks and eaten outside all the time. Just gorgeous and a fab week with my parents, we WILL be back! Thank you xxx PS saw a kingfisher! Perfect thankyou xx

Another Glorious week in this glorious week in this lovely place, made even better with our grandson and watching him having fun! John gave him his first sailing lessons in our yacht. Great weather for sketching and painting, in fact there was something for everyone. Let’s hope the sun keeps shinning for our next visit!

Great week weather good despite the gales at the beginning of the week. Great view and rustic Charms from the Boathouse. Great fun in the rowing boat, just as when Adrian was here 34 years ago as a child!! Hope to be back again-a little sooner though! Xxx

First time to the Broads, flew the drone and explored, paddled the canoe, hired a boat, cap in hand found a inn. Best of all subline sunsets, staying in the Boathouse and Chilling.

Thank you for a fabulous holiday, our first at the Boathouse. We have fallen in love with the cottage and its gorgeous view-brought back happy memories of our ‘cottage exploits’ in Canada when our children were young. We shall be definitely booking again and hope to bring our grandchildren next time to enjoy the whole experience. It was nice to meet you Steve, we enjoyed the chat.
